This year at Pedernales Falls we were lucky enough to get the youth group campsite, so we had the large area all to ourselves. This is a summary of our adventure with the Webelos of Pack 1800.
Wow! Camp-o-ree weekend was a tremendous success!! Why you ask?? For many reasons that include the unbelievable weather, competition comradery, outstanding food, secret Order of the Arrow ceremony, and most importantly, the two awards we won as a Troop. With more than 30 participants in our contingency for this special event, the Force was strong with Troop 1852!

This time our adventure took us to the far reaches of the seldom explored area of the Colorado River outside of Columbus. A scheduled late start time of 09:00 was met, and we were off! It was a quick drive to our put-in point with the livery service. After shedding our Class A’s, we were ready to start.
