Just a reminder that part 2 of the Scouting “Souper Bowl of Caring” food drive is this Saturday, Feb. 4th. This may be the most important service project of the year, and we’ll need as many Scouts and parents out there as possible. It is also a great way for Scouts to earn service hours which can be used toward rank advancement, but in true Scouting spirit, we’d like to see everyone out there even if they don’t need service hours.
Scout Sunday is this weekend. Did you know that this Sunday, February 5th, is also recognized as Scout Sunday (yes… it’s an official day) in the BSA? For this very special occasion, we would like to have our Scouts attend the service at our chartered organization, Southminster Presbyterian Church, this Sunday.
